On October 10, 2024, students majoring in 035.043 Germanic Languages and Literatures (Translation included) with German as the first language, and 014.02 Secondary Education, Language and Literature, along with faculty members of the Department of German Philology, had the wonderful opportunity to attend a lecture by Rainhard Kloucek. He is the President of the Pan-European Movement of Austria (https://www.paneuropa.at/), a member of the Presidium of the Pan-European Union, and Vice President of the International Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi Society. The topic of the lecture was «Paneuropa – ein geopolitisches Konzept für die europäische Freiheit» / «Pan-Europa – A Geopolitical Concept for European Freedom».
The relevance of the topic, the engaging presentation, and the lecturer’s expertise captivated the audience, sparked lively discussions, and inspired ideas for future collaborative projects.
